Healy Mac’s Irish Bar and Restaurant first opened its doors in 2009 on Changkat Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, offering an authentic Irish “Cead Mile Failte” and a traditional atmosphere. The bar is celebrated for its cosy, inviting interiors and lively social scene, where guests enjoy not only the warmth and charm of a true Irish pub but also regular live music that brings people together.
Building on the flagship’s success, the chain expanded across Malaysia, including Penang, Ipoh, and several locations in KL. In 2015, Healy Mac’s was honoured by the Irish Times as the “Best Irish Pub in the World (Outside Ireland)”. The bar’s history is rooted in hard work and dedication, not just Irish luck, and is committed to pouring the perfect pint of Guinness.
